Order & Rebellion

Order and Rebellion is our mission to build architectural artifacts that ground and bring order to the home as we rebel against the disposable and the derivative.

We design and build pieces that command the space they inhabit and blur the line between sculpture and furniture. Our pursuit is of the harmony between process and art.

It is the discipline of the maker’s hand, the reverence for materials and their provenance, the obsession with our craft that gives order.

In opposition is defiance: Rebellion in the form.

It lives in the courage of asymmetry, the visual tension of an impossibly balanced piece, the decision to choose heavy mass over delicate lines. Our pieces are born on this fine edge between beauty and defiance.

Order in the craft. Rebellion in the form.
